Diagnostic Procedure

DTC U3003:17 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1 VERIFY PCM DTCs  Yes Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN Y)] .)
(See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN L)] .)
(See DTC TABLE [PCM (VIN M)] .)
No Go to the next step.
2 INSPECT BATTERY  Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the battery, then go to Step 4.

(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN L] .)
(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN M] .)
3 INSPECT GENERATOR  Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the generator, then go to the next step.

(See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN L] .)
(See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN M] .)
4 VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED  Yes Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
No Go to the next step.
5 VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED 
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
