Notification And Warning Speaker Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the notification and warning speaker. (See NOTIFICATION AND WARNING SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that there is continuity between notification and warning speaker terminals A and B.

- If there is no continuity, replace the notification and warning speaker. (See NOTIFICATION AND WARNING SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Measure the resistance between notification and warning speaker terminals A and B.
Minimum specification

2.0 ohms
- If the measured resistance is the minimum specification or less, replace the notification and warning speaker. (See NOTIFICATION AND WARNING SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
