PID/DATA Monitor Inspection
- Verify that there is no engine oil leakage.
- If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results.
- Inspect the engine oil level. (See ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION (VIN Y) .)
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Access the PCM PID/DATA monitor item [ENG_OIL_LVL] using the M-MDS. (Refer to PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) .) (Refer to PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM(VIN Y)] .) .)
- Verify that the PID [ENG_OIL_LVL] value and the engine oil amount measured using the dipstick are same.
