PURPOSE: VERIFY IF THERE ARE DEFICIENCIES IN PREVIOUS MODULE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
- Verify the contents of the previous module replacement procedure.
NOTE:
- If a module other than for this vehicle is installed, this diagnostic procedure cannot be used to resolve the problem.
- Is the correct module installed?

Go to the next step. |

Install the correct module and perform repair completion verification 1. |

PURPOSE: RECORD CONFIGURATION DATA
- Switch the ignition off/main power OFF.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on)/main power ON (READY off or on) and wait for 1 min or more.
- Switch the ignition off/main power OFF and wait for 30 s or more.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on)/main power ON (READY off or on).
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the DTC inspection for the auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- Is the same Pending DTC present?

Perform the repair completion verification 2. |

PURPOSE: VERIFY BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTC
- Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM). (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- Are any DTCs displayed?

Yes |
Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BCM]
.) |

Go to the next step. |

PURPOSE: INSPECT BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) FOR MALFUNCTION
- Perform the quick check. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- Are the following DTCs stored in other multiple modules?
- U2300: 54
- U2300: 55
- U2300: 56
- U2300: 64

Yes |
Replace the body control module (BCM) and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to applicable BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
in the service information.) |

| Repair completion verification 1 |
PURPOSE: VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
- Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the DTC inspection for the auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes |
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)]
.) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
- If the malfunction recurs, replace the auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module, then go to the next step. (Refer to applicable AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in the service information.)
