U0415: 68 (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- When any of the following conditions is met.
- The vehicle control module (VCM) receives the error signal from the electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM.
- The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the brake signals between electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM and the following modules did not match during brake pedal operation while the vehicle is being driven.
- PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV)
- Front radar sensor
- Body control module (BCM)
- The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that a fail-safe is operated based on a deceleration request while the vehicle is being driven.

- Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to applicable BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
in the service information.)

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC
.)
- Operate the brake pedal while the vehicle is being driven.
