DTC U0140-00: Can Communication System: Communication Error To Body Control Module (BCM)

U0140-00: (TCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	CAN communication system: Communication error to body control module (BCM)
Detection condition	The TCM cannot receive the signal from the body control module (BCM). Preconditions Battery voltage: Specified value or more
Fail-safe	Inhibits learning control. Inhibits neutral idle control. Cancel the i-stop control.
Possible cause	CAN communication line malfunction between TCM and body control module (BCM) NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Control valve body malfunction (TCM malfunction) (Refer to CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL] , or CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL] in service information.)
