B10A4-86: (ALH/AFS/ALV) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module received error signal from the swivel actuator (RH).
NOTE:
- This DTC is also stored if the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module detects strong lateral-G, but this does not indicate a malfunction.

| Fail-safe |
- The swivel actuator (RH) is moved to the center or stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
- The swivel actuator (LH) is moved to the center.
- Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued with the headlight leveling actuator positioned-0.65° from where the malfunction is determined.

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See
CLEARING DTC
.)
- Switch the ignition off.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine on) and wait for 60 s. (Headlights move left/right during initial position learning.)
