DTC U2512-82: Error Signal Received From 360°View Monitor Control Module/Parking Assist Unit (Optical)

U2512-82: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Error signal received from 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical)
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) receives an error signal from the 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical).
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause	Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules. Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .) Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) DTCs are stored in the 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical). (See DTC TABLE [VMC] .) 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical) malfunction (Refer to PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) (Refer to 360DEGREESVIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
