DTC B14F1-78: Front Side Radar Sensor Optical Axis Deviation

B14F1-78: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Front side radar sensor optical axis deviation
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the front side radar sensor (LH) or (RH) determined an axis deviation.
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause	Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules. Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .) Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) DTCs are stored in the following modules. Front side radar sensor (LH) (See DTC TABLE [FSRL] .) Front side radar sensor (RH) (See DTC TABLE [FSRR] .) Front bumper malfunction (Refer to FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Incorrect front bumper installation Damage (including repairs using putty application), dirt, application of stickers (including transparent types), or freezing Incorrect front side radar sensor installation (Refer to FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Front side radar sensor aiming adjustment malfunction (optical axis deviation) (See FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING .) Front side radar sensor (LH) malfunction (Refer to FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Front side radar sensor (RH) malfunction (Refer to FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
