Resistance inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Wiper arm (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Front suspension tower bar (Vehicles with front suspension tower bar) (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Air box complete (See AIR BOX COMPLETE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2 connector.
  4. Remove the screw. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Measure the resistance between MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2 terminals A and B.
