| Detection condition |
- The retractable hardtop control module repeatedly detects that the top lock switch has failed to lock and exceeds a certain number of times.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops retractable hardtop operation and reverses rotation to unlock position
- Inhibits the open retractable hardtop operation.

| Possible cause |
- Short to ground in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 1G and top lock switch malfunction terminal A
- Top lock switch malfunction
- Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
