DTC B1C53-13: Wiper Switch Circuit Malfunction [Start Stop Unit]: Notes

DTC B1C53:13 (START STOP UNIT) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Wiper switch circuit malfunction
Detection condition	Start stop unit detects an open circuit, short to ground, or short to power supply in the wiper switch circuit for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Start stop unit configuration error The installations of the light switch and the wiper and washer switch are reversed. Wiper switch malfunction Start stop unit malfunction
