DTC B13D3:4A (START STOP UNIT) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY THAT THE VEHICLE AND REMOTE TRANSMITTER COMBINATION IS CORRECT Verify that the vehicle and remote transmitter combination is correct. Is the combination of the remote transmitters correct?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Re-register using the correct remote transmitters, then go to the Step 4. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING .)
2	PERFORM START STOP UNIT CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) Using the M-MDS, perform the start stop unit configuration (using As-Built data). (See START STOP UNIT CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) .) Clear the DTC for the start stop unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the start stop unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Using the M-MDS, perform the start stop unit configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step. (See START STOP UNIT CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) .)
2		No	Go to Step 5.
3	DETERMINE MALFUNCTIONING KEY DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY NOTE: Perform the following procedure for all of the programmed remote transmitters. Clear the DTC for the start stop unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the start stop unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is there a remote transmitter which indicates the same DTC?	Yes	Replace the remote transmitter which indicates the DTC, then go to the next step. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING .)
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the start stop unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [START STOP UNIT] .) Retrieve the start stop unit DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [START STOP UNIT] .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the start stop unit. (See START STOP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [START STOP UNIT] .)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
