Adjuster Anchor Removal/Installation: Notes
WARNING:
- Incorrect handling of the front seat belt (front pre-tensioner seat belt) may cause the pre-tensioner to activate (deploy) unexpectedly and cause injury. Read the SRS air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling a front seat belt (front pre-tensioner seat belt). - Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Set the adjuster to the lowest position.
- Remove the following parts:
- Front seat belt lower anchor (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove bolt A. (See BOLT INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Remove bolt B. (See BOLT INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Remove the adjuster anchor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
