Piston Rod Nut Installation Note
- Install the offset box-end wrench to the torque wrench as shown in the figure below, set it on the piston rod nut, and measure dimensions A and L shown in the figure below.
- Tighten the piston rod nut after calculating the tightening torque using the following formula.
Tightening Torque
14-16 N.m {1.5-1.6 kgf.m, 10.4-11.8 ft.lbf}
Calculation formula
Tx [L/(L+A)] T: Tightening torque (14-16 N.m {1.5-1.6 kgf.m, 10.4-11.8 ft.lbf} L: Torque wrench effective length
