WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) DISABLING PROCEDURE

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. Wrap cushioning tape around the connector.
    NOTE:
    • To prevent interference between the disconnected connector and the vehicle interior, wrap commercially available cushioning tape (length: 90 mm {3.54 in} x width: 50 mm {1.97 in} x thickness: 5 mm {0.2 in}) around the connector.
  5. Fix the wiring harness with a band at the position shown in the figure below.

  6. Install the shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
