Rear Door Glass Run-Channel Removal/Installation

  1. Perform the rear door glass preparation. (See REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Power window subswitch component (rear) (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear door trim (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Rear door glass (See REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear beltline molding (See REAR BELTLINE MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Rear door garnish (See REAR DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the fasteners.

  5. Partially peel back the rear door glass run-channel.

  6. Using a remover tool, detach the clips.
  7. Move the rear door glass run-channel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure below and remove it from the rear door hooks.

  8. Remove the rear door glass run-channel.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  10. Perform the power window system initialization procedure. (See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE .)
