Front Console Box Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Front console upper panel (See FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Move the front console box in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below and detach the clips from the front console.

  4. Move the front console box in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below and remove it while releasing the guides.

  5. Remove the front console box.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
