DTC U300A-62; IG1 Relay Circuit Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Description IG1 relay circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • Any of the following conditions is met.
    • Power liftgate (PLG) control module detects an open circuit or short to ground in IG1 relay circuit for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
      • Power liftgate (PLG) control module detects a short to power supply in IG1 relay circuit for 1 s or more with the ignition switched off.
Fail-safe
  • Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.
Possible cause
  • IG1 relay malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between MAIN 200 A fuse and IG1 relay terminal D
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between battery positive terminal and IG1 relay terminal D
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module connector or terminal malfunction
  • Wiring harness between IG1 relay terminal C and power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1AD malfunction
    • Short to ground in wiring harness between IG1 relay terminal C and power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1AD malfunction
      • C/U IG1 15 A fuse malfunction
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between IG1 relay terminal C and power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1AD
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between IG1 relay terminal C and power liftgate (PLG) control module terminal 1AD
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
