Display Audio (DA) Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The DA has stored vehicle specification information.
  • A new DA does not have any stored vehicle specification information.
  • When the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) after replacing the DA, the unit reads and stores the vehicle specification information sent via CAN communication from the body control module (BCM).
  • The Bluetooth® pairing information stored in the DA cannot be written to a new DA. Therefore, the Bluetooth® pairing information will be eliminated if the DA is replaced. Before replacing the DA, explain to the customer that the Bluetooth® pairing resetting is required.
