Second-Row Seat Back Frame Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Second-row seat (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Second-row seat cushion (See SECOND-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Second-row seat side cover (See SECOND-ROW SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Second-row center buckle (See SECOND-ROW BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Second-row seat back component (See SECOND-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the armrest hinge cover.
- Remove the screw and washer.
- Remove the screw.
- Remove second-row seat center cover B.
- Remove the clip in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.
- Move the second-row seat center armrest in the order of arrows (1),(2) shown in the figure and remove it.
- Remove second-row seat center cover A.
- While pressing the second-row center seat belt cover tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the second-row center seat belt cover in the direction of arrows (2) and detach the second-row center seat belt cover tabs from the second-row seat back frame.
- While pressing the second-row center seat belt cover tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the second-row center seat belt cover in the direction of arrows (2) and detach the second-row center seat belt cover tabs from the second-row seat back frame.
- Remove the second-row center seat belt cover.
- Remove the cover and then remove the screws.
- Release the pole guide tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, then pull the pole guide out in the direction of arrow (2).
- Lift up the second-row seat back trim and second-row seat back pad as a single unit and remove it from the second-row seat back frame.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
