Foot-Motion Detection Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Foot-motion detection unit (See FOOT-MOTION DETECTION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Detach the hooks from the foot-motion detection sensors shown in the figure.
- Remove the foot-motion detection sensors.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Foot-Motion Detection Sensor Installation Note .)
