Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
NOTE:
- Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch.
