Electric At Oil Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- Do not drop or apply a shock to the electric AT oil pump. Replace the electric AT oil pump if it has been dropped or received an impact.
- Do not disassemble the electric AT oil pump. Replace the electric AT oil pump if it has been disassembled.
- Make sure that there is no silicone sealant or other foreign matter in the electric AT oil pump and transaxle. Otherwise, it could cause a malfunction.
- Always bleed the air from the electric AT oil pump oil passage after replacing the electric AT oil pump. If air is in the oil passage of the electric AT oil pump, it could cause a malfunction.
- Turn the steering wheel left until it locks.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front splash shield (LH). (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.PART DESCRIPTION

(See Electric AT Oil Pump Installation Note .)3 O-ring - Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Add the ATF.
- Bleed air using the following procedure.
- Display PIDs CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1, E_OIL_PUMP, and PUMP_SPD using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .)
- Select [Activated] for E_OIL_PUMP.
- Verify that CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1 turns on while the electric AT oil pump is operating.
- Select [Not Activated] for E_OIL_PUMP after 3 min to finish air bleeding.
- Adjust the ATF level.
