Buckle Switch Inspection
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
