WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) DISABLING PROCEDURE

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
  2. Remove the console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  3. Remove the switch panel No. 2 (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  4. Remove the selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  5. Remove the shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  6. Remove the wireless charger (Qi). (SeeWIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  7. Secure the wiring harness and the connector with tape as shown in the figure.

  8. Wrap a cushion tape around the wiring harness and the connector secured in Step 10 as shown in the figure.
    NOTE: * To prevent noise due to interference between the disconnected connector and the interior of the vehicle, wrap a cushion tape (length: 125 mm{5.0 in}width: 80 mm{3.2 in}thickness: 5 mm{0.2 in}) around the wiring harness and the connector.

  9. Install the wireless charger (Qi). (See WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  10. Install the shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  11. Install the selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  12. Install the switch panel No. 2 (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
  13. Install the center console tray (See CENTER CONSOLE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
