High-Mount Brake Light Removal/Installation: Sedan-4SD

NOTE:
- When removing the high-mount brake light, the procedure can be facilitated by folding down the rear seat.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the rear scuff plate. (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the c-pillar trim. (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear seat back. (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the tire house trim. (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear package trim. (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the connector.
- Remove the screws.
- While lift up the high-mount brake light in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull out the high-mount brake light in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.
- Remove the high-mount brake light.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
