Refrigerant Pressure Check (Us): Notes

- Install the manifold gauge set. (See MANIFOLD GAUGE SET CONNECTION .)
- Start the engine.
- Prepare the vehicle as follows.
- Vehicle is not exposed to solar radiation
- Engine speed: 1, 500 rpm
- A/C switch: ON
- Air intake port: REC
- Airflow mode: VENT
- Airflow temperature: MAX COLD
- Airflow volume: MAX HI
- Hood: Open
- All the doors and the trunk/liftgate: Close
- All the windows: Close
- Active air shutter (with active air shutter): Open
- Wait for 8 min after the engine is started.
- Record the pressure indicated on the manifold gauge and ambient temperature for 2 min.
- Verify that there are high/low pressure value readings within the shaded areas of the figure.
