Lumbar Support Motor Inspection

WARNING:
- Handling a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the service information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). - Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Slide hooks A in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3) shown in the figure and disconnect them from hooks B.
- Open fasteners.
- Disconnect the lumber support motor connector.
- Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the lumbar support motor terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the front seat operation condition.
- If the operation cannot be verified as indicated in the table, replace the front seat back frame. (See FRONT SEAT BACK FRAME DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (US) .)
