Mazda M Hybrid BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION: Notes
CAUTION:
- For handling the Mazda M Hybrid battery safely, refer to [Mazda M Hybrid SERVICE CAUTIONS]. (See Mazda M Hybrid SERVICE CAUTIONS .)
- Be careful not to hold the following locations when removing/installing the Mazda M Hybrid battery. Otherwise, it could be damaged.
- Terminal cover
- Eptsealer
- Clean the duct of the floor under cover (RH) when installing the Mazda M Hybrid battery. Otherwise, Mazda M Hybrid may not operate normally.
- Switch the ignition OFF.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
- Disconnect the ground plate. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts.
- Brace bar (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN 7/VIN L] .)
- Tunnel member (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN 7/VIN L] .)
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove in the order shown in the figure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.PART DESCRIPTION
