DTC U2501-68: Error Signal Received From Vehicle Control Module (VCM) [Electronically Controlled Brake Unit]: Outline

DTC U2501:68 (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Error signal received from vehicle control module (VCM)
Detection condition
  • The electronically controlled brake unit receives the error signal from the vehicle control module (VCM).
Fail-safe Refer to "DTC Table" and "Fail-safe Function Malfunction Contents Table". (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT] .)
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the vehicle control module (VCM).
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
