Solar Radiation Sensor Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
- Connect the positive (+) lead to terminals A and negative (-) lead to terminal B of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.Fig 1: Connecting Positive Lead To Solar Radiation Sensor Terminals A And Negative Lead To Terminal B

- If the voltage is 0 V , replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
