Solar Radiation Sensor Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Shine a fluorescent light or expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
  4. Connect the positive (+) lead to terminals A and negative (-) lead to terminal B of the solar radiation sensor, and verify that the voltage value is output.
