Rear Abs Wheel-Speed Sensor Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When working on the left side of the vehicle, remove the trunk covering. (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When working on the left side of the vehicle, remove the partition board. (See PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When working on the left side of the vehicle, remove the fuel-filler pipe protector. (See FUEL-FILLER PIPE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- Disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor connector.
- Press out the rear ABS wheel speed sensor toward the outside of the vehicle while pressing the grommet tabs.
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, verify that there is no twisting in the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor.
