Vacuum Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
- Remove the following parts as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T]

- Air hose
- Air cleaner cover
- Air cleaner element
- Fresh-air duct
- Air cleaner case
- Air inlet pipe
- Remove the battery. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the bolts and nut A.
- Remove the bracket.
- Remove nut B.
- Pinch open the clamps using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hoses from the vacuum pump. (See VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order shown in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
