Lift Motor Inspection

WARNING:

Handling a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the workshop service information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the lift motor connector.
Apply battery positive voltage to the lift motor terminals and inspect the front seat operation.

If not as specified, replace the front seat cushion frame. (See FRONT SEAT BACK FRAME REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
