EGR Pipe Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
Remove the EGR cooler. (See EGR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the bolts shown in the figure and set the water pipe aside.

Remove in the order indicated in the table.

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

1	Water hose No. 1 (See Water Hose No. 1 Installation Note .)
2	Water hose No. 2 (See Water Hose No. 2 Installation Note .)
3	EGR pipe

Install in the reverse order of removal.
