Resistance Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper column cover (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Driver-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Meter hood (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Push button start (See PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity between the push button start terminals is as indicated in the table.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the push button start. (See PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
