Liftgate Side Trim Removal/Installation

- Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the fastener.
- Take the shaded area shown in the figure, and pull the liftgate side trim in the direction of the arrow (1) while detaching clips.
- Take the shaded area shown in the figure, detach tabs while pulling the liftgate side trim in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure, then detach the hook, pin while pulling in the direction of the arrow (3).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
