SUNVISOR Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (with vanity mirror illumination) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.

  3. Move the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, detach the tab, and remove the sunvisor cap.

  4. Remove the screw.

  5. Move the sunvisor in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the hook.
  6. Disconnect the vanity mirror illumination connector. (with vanity mirror illumination)
  7. Using two tape-wrapped flathead screwdrivers, press the center adapter tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, and remove the center adapter in the direction of arrow (2).

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
