Battery Tray Installation Note

  1. When replacing the battery tray with a new one, install the bracket using the following procedure:
    1. Temporarily tighten the bolt shown in the figure.

    2. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the figure.

    TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    Tightening torque
    8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
  2. Tighten the battery tray installation bolts in the order shown in the figure.

    TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    Tightening torque
    22-30 N.m {2.3-3.0 kgf.m, 17-22 ft.lbf}
  3. Install the wiring harness clips shown in the figure.

  4. Tighten the bolt and nut shown in the figure.

    TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    Tightening torque
    Bolt: 8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
    Nut: 9-12 N.m {92-122 kgf.cm, 80-106 in.lbf}
  5. Install the PCM component. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN M] .)
  6. Install the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN M] .)
