Description Radar sensor sensitivity temporarily decreases depending on various external and environmental factors (Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH)
Detection condition 
  • Radar sensor sensitivity in blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) decreases for 5 s or more  with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe 
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) system is stopped.
Possible cause 
  • Rear bumper dirt or foreign material (reflective object) is adhered.
  • Dirt or foreign material (reflective object) on blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH)
  • Concavity and convexity on the surface of the repaired rear bumper
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) malfunction
