Diagnostic Procedure

Step Inspection Action
1 VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs  Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(Refer to DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .)
No Go to the next step.
2 RESET INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION DATA  Yes Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step.
(Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) .)
No Go to Step 4.
3 VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED  Yes Replace the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH), then go to the next step.
(Refer to BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
No Go to the next step.
4 VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED 
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(Refer to DTC TABLE [BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) CONTROL MODULE] .)
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
