Coolant Control Valve Removal Note

  1. Disconnect the connector shown in the figure.

  2. Remove the clip shown in the figure.

  3. Remove the coolant control valve.
  4. When replacing the engine coolant control valve, remove ECT sensor No. 2. (See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
