Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL .) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front mudguard (Driver's side). (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the hood latch protector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
NOTE:
- Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.

- If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
