Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal, (with pocket light) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Detach hooks in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure below.
- Pull the dashboard under cover in the direction of arrow (2) while detaching pins.
- Remove the dashboard under cover in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure above while detaching the guide.CAUTION:
- If hooks and pins are removed forcefully, guide may be damaged. Carefully remove the hooks and pins so as not to damage guide.
- Disconnect the pocket light connector, (with pocket light)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE:
- When replacing the dashboard under cover, remove the pocket light, (with pocket light) (See POCKET LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
