Rear Stabilizer Installation (2WD): Notes

- After installing the rear stabilizer bracket, verify that the positions of the rear stabilizer bracket and the rear stabilizer bushing are within the range shown in the figure.

H1: 5 mm {0.2 in} max.
H2: 5 mm {0.2 in} max.
- Install the rear stabilizer component as shown in the figure.
- Assembly the rear stabilizer component so that the identification mark is on the right side of the vehicle.
- Temporarily tighten nuts A and B shown in the figure.
- Tighten nut A.
Tightening torque
21-26 N.m {2.2-2.6 kgf.m, 16-19 ft.lbf}
- Tighten nut B.
Tightening torque
21-26 N.m {2.2-2.6 kgf.m, 16-19 ft.lbf}
- Tighten nut A.
Tightening torque
21-26 N.m {2.2-2.6 kgf.m, 16-19 ft.lbf}
- Install the rear coil spring (RH). (See REAR COIL SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the rear stabilizer control link (RH).
