Active Driving Display Short-Cord Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the battery. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder. (See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the clutch reserve hose from the master cylinder. (MTX) (See MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Side wall (driver side) (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Front heat duct (LH) (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Brake pedal (See BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Clutch pedal (MTX) (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
5. Meter hood No. 2 (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Active driving display (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Active driving display short-cord (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity between the active driving display short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.
