Buckle Switch Inspection: Rear

  1. Switch the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the rear buckle. (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.

    • If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear buckle.
