Side Turn Light Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the outer mirror glass. (See OUTER MIRROR GLASS REMOVAL .) (See OUTER MIRROR GLASS INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the upper outer mirror garnish. (See OUTER MIRROR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the lower outer mirror garnish. (See OUTER MIRROR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the side turn light. (See SIDE TURN LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery voltage to side turn light terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.
- Verify that the LED illuminates.
- If the LED illuminates, go to the next step.
- If the LED does not illuminate, replace the side turn light. (See SIDE TURN LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Front door trim (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Power outer mirror connector (See POWER OUTER MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between side turn light terminal and power outer mirror terminal is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the power outer mirror. (See POWER OUTER MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
