DTC U2300-55: Instrument Cluster Configuration Not Implemented: Notes

DTC U2300:55 (AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Instrument Cluster Configuration Not Implemented
Detection condition
  • Auto leveling control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.
Fail-safe
  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the auto leveling control module to the auto leveling control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
  • Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.
  • Instrument cluster malfunction
  • Auto leveling control module malfunction
